Most of our apartments have been tested by past students, and we work closely with trusted landlords and agents to ensure transparency.

The price shown on each listing is usually the final rent. However, due to

inflation in Argentina, prices can change each semester. We always confirm

the updated rate before booking, and in some cases discounts may apply for longer stays or upfront payments.

Yes. Once you decide on a property, a contract is signed between you and

the landlord or agent. StayXchange reviews it to make sure it aligns with

standard rental terms and avoids unfair clauses (though we are not legal

advisors).

This varies by property. Some require a small reservation fee, while others

don’t. In most cases, a deposit equal to one month’s rent is standard, payable when signing the contract or upon arrival.

Most landlords prefer cash. Some accept transfers or other methods,

depending on the property. If needed, you can withdraw funds in Buenos

Aires through services like Western Union.

When you arrive in Buenos Aires, you’ll pay the first month’s rent upfront plus the deposit, unless you’ve arranged to pay the full stay in advance (which mayqualify for a discount).

Not necessarily. We can connect you with other exchange students interested in the same property. If choosing specific roommates is important to you, we recommend coordinating through your exchange student groups before arrival. In some cases, certain landlords or agents require the entire property to be rented at once. If that happens, you may need to find roommates to complete the occupancy if we can’t fill it through our network.

Once the contract is signed and the reservation fee is paid (if required),

cancellation is not possible.

exchange students throughout the semester and accompany you during your entire stay. We bridge the gap between you and landlords or agents, assist with property-related issues, and share advice from our own experience. Utilities and expenses vary by property. Some are fully included, while others may charge separately. Properties that include utilities are marked with the filter “All expenses included” on the property card, and each description specifies whether utilities are covered.

Most students book before arriving in Buenos Aires, since apartments get

rented quickly. Our photos and detailed descriptions give you a reliable

impression, and we can provide extra photos or videos if needed. If you’re already in Buenos Aires and the property is still available, we can try to arrange a visit depending on the landlord’s or agent’s availability.
